Jaime,
I had to laugh at Albert's nail
cutting experience at the Vet's. I
keep thinking about the technician
saying "HEY HEY HEY!" and cracking
up to myself. My Vet had advised
me to put Brownie Bear on a diet
cuz she used to be 3.1 pounds and
the Vet doesn't like to see the
piggies over 3 lbs. And the Sassy
Bear WAS quite Chubby. She used to
have a Big 'ole gut that would
sway from side to side when she
walked--ha ha!

But, now she has trimmed back down
to her college weight and she's a
sexy 2.875 pounds and she's held
that weight for a couple of months.
Butterscotch was 2.75 pounds for
the longest time, and then it creeped
up to 2.81 lbs. and he held that weight
for a couple of months and now...
he's 2.875 lbs. --Yikes! I know that
many of you wrote me after I posted
their Easter website and were shocked
at how much he's grown. I'm shocked
too. I can't believe that Brownie Bear
and B'scotch are the same weight now. And
BS actually looks bigger than B-Bear,
with those big paws and big 'ole head.
:-) He's not overweight though. He's
in really good shape. He runs around
all the time (much more than B-Bear)
and he jumps around and acts crazy half
the time.

So, 2.95 pounds doesn't seem that bad.
Maybe Albert just needs a little extra
excercise or something. Here are some
games that I used to play with B-Bear to
encourage her to excercise:

FOLLOW THE HAND
HIDE 'n GO SEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEK
CHASE THE PIGGIE
SCAVENGER 'Veggie' HUNT

  Have Fun! :-)

      Love 'n Wheeeeeeeeeeps,
        Leah...Slave to Brownie Bear
                   & Butterscotch :-)
