[Gpdd] (Health) Whining while pooping

I've seen this mentioned on the digest before, but I
never followed it too closely because I didn't think
it applied to any of my pigs...
I was wrong...
In the past few days, I've noticed that Jasper has
been sort of whining when he makes a cecal poop (the
ones they eat). Not when he's bending to get it, but
when he's 'producing' one. Does anyone know what this
might be about? He seems to be drinking enough water,
but should I start syringing him more?
Sorry for the somewhat gross topic, but I am worried
about my boy. He is a shelter pig so I know nothing of
his past health history (other than a very bad case of
mites)
