[Gpdd] Health: Scratching ears

Hello,

One of my two girls has been, for at least two and a half months, been
scratching ears to the point of forming small scabs. I immediately
suspected mites and brought my girls in to see their vet. He thought it
might also be ring worm so he did a culture (which came out negative)
and gave a series of Invermectin shots. Mind you it is only one of the
pigs that has ever scratched her ears, and now she is doing it again.
She is going to see the vet, yet again (trip four!) and after talking to
the vet he is not sure what it could be...he feels it safe to err on the
side of caution and give another course of invermectin as it is pretty
safe. Her ears do look a little dry so to help moisturize them I have in
the past applied plain mineral oil with a cotton swab. I was wondering
if any of you had any ideas, suggestions, or similar experience.

Thank you,

Robert, Molly and Sweetie
