[Gpdd] MISC: RE: Floor time

I know this won't work for everyone, but in my apartment I use the hallway as floor time.  Because its only me and hubby, I don't have to worry about other family members accidentally using the hallway.  I close the doorways and block each end with what ever I have at hand, a big box or sideways garbage can, and leftover cube pieces.  We put newspaper at each end of the hallway because they like to go in the corners. and put a pile of hay on one of the papers.  Then I sprinkle veggies all along the hallway to get them to move around.  Throw in a tunnel or even a paper plate bent in half for a tent and then let them go.  When I sit in the hallway leaning against the wall, my 2 girls go behind my back!  They run when I try to pick them up, but they are not afraid to nudge me in the back with their noses to get me to move.  I think thats so funny.  I have heard that GPs like running on carpet better than tile, but I don't know for sure.  Also for cleanup, I am very lazy so I wait for a little bit afterwards for the poos to dry, then use a dust buster to vacuum them up.  Anyone else have good ideas for floor time?
