Carrie,
It sounds like Sugar Bear has mites. Did your vet do a
skin scraping? Guineas can carry mites for some time
with no indications (they live under the skin) and
then boom--they start itching and losing fur in
clumps. It affects some pigs worse than others. My boy
Jasper was having those fits and it was caused by
mites.
