Hi all,

Catnip is part of the mint family and so it is ok for piggies to have. My gang, it was a 50-50 split of who liked it and who didn't. Because it is strong smelling, a lot of my piggies shook their heads at it and walked away and would not come back over. The others were like, hey it's green, let's eat! This was fresh stuff I gave them and the dried won't hurt them but it may not appeal either.

Has anyone seen this link before? http://www.guineapigsecrets.com/PiggyToys.htm They have some good points... I may buy a set of these toys and give them a test run. If they are a hit, then I can get the parts and make them myself for all the cages. I can also let you know if they are popular.

I have some new pigs coming into rescue. A bonded pair, the female pregnant of course and due around the end of May. I LOVE piggy babies! And another possible female who happens to be a tweeter (one of those pigs that tweets or chirps at night) which should make things interesting in the pig room.

Alicia, I heard how Willie gets to have floor time now! I also think you should convince your husband to carry more guinea pig stuff in his store! Fishes are not as fun as guinea pigs!

Take care all!
