[Gpdd] health:allergies

Dear Piggie People,

I know various people have written about this,  but I don't know what 
was said.  It appears that my husband and my son are allergic to 
something guinea pig related. Roxie is an Abyssinian,  and I'm 
wondering if it is her fur or something on her.  When my husband holds 
her he gets a little rash,  which goes away when he washes his arm.   
Otherwise,  they might be allergic to the hay.  They get teary eyed and 
cough.

They both adore Roxie and Phera and we don't know how to resolve this.  
Because our home is small,  the piggies are in a central room.  The 
only other place that they could go would be in our office,  but then 
my husband would be near them all of the time.  None of us want to put 
them upstairs where people hardly go.  Do you think it is the pigs or 
the hay?  The bedding is the paper kind,  not aspen or pine.
