[gpdd] SILLY: Do you sing to your pigs?

I have wanted to share this for a while; maybe those who run the digest could
find room for it some day when news is slow? When Niles was sick, his two
favorite lullabies were this one and "Waltzing with Pigsters". It's not
perfect, but the nice thing about pigsters is that if you don't remember the
exact words, they don't mind. The silly pronounciations, as well as the
traditional singing in a high, squeaky, Alvin-and-the-chipmunks voice, are
optional. If you make up new verses, please let me know.

WHEN PIGSTER EYES ARE SMILING
(to the tune of the chorus of "When Irish Eyes are Smiling")

We loves our little pigsters
With their tiny hearts so true;
And if you laugh and play with them,
Then you will love them too;

They're cute beyond description,
When they eat or nap or play,
And when pigster eyes are smiling,
They will steal your heart away.

We loves dem 'cuz they're fuzzy,
And sleek and warm and sweet;
We loves their shiny button eyes,
And tiny cutesy feet.

We loves dem when they're chubby,
And we loves dem when they're small,
But when pigster eyes are smiling,
Then we love them most of all.

We loves to feed them parsley
Or some other tasty treat;
It warms the cockles of our hearts
To see our pigsters eat.

We loves to give them apples,
Or their favorite tender hay,
And when pigster eyes are smiling
They will steal your heart away.

We hates to hear them sneezle,
But it's cute to watch them yawn
And when it's warm in summer
They can gambol on the lawn;

We loves dem in the springtime
And we loves dem in the fall,
But when pigster eyes are smiling,
Then we love them most of all.

We loves dem when they're sleeping;
Even more when they're awake.
We love to watch them scamper 'round
And hear the wheeks they make

(whispered)
We loves dem in the nightime
(normal voice)
And we loves dem in the day,
But when pigster eyes are smiling,
They will steal your heart away.
