Gemma, we are so very sorry to hear of the passing of your rabbit.  We were 
honored to share our lives with our rabbit, E.B. White, for almost 12 
years, so we know how special these little beings are.  Please accept our 
condolences.

Yes, your piggie definitely sounds like he is mourning the loss of his 
rabbit buddy.  It is good you are giving him more attention, and it would 
also be good, if possible, to get him a guinea pig friend.  Our piggie Joey 
G. was three when two guinea pig friends, Sunshine and Tumbleweed, came 
into his life last year, and he was so pleased to meet them.

If you do get a piggie friend for your piggie, it would be good to keep 
them separated for at least a week to make sure the new piggie is 
healthy.  Also, when you introduce them, do so on neutral ground.  We 
introduced Joey to his new friends in an area of our kitchen where no 
piggies had been.
