We have a coroplast and wire shelving cage my husband made. One solution to chewing is to put the wire inside the cage so they can't get to the plastic. Our sides are about 6 1/2 inches and Juliet and Peaches don't chew on it. Dee www.sunnyday1.blinkz.com
