Happy Holidays Everyone !!!
I know we all have lost a lot of our fury loved ones this year,
but let's try to remember the joy they have brought to our lives and let that warm our hearts.


I received a phone call today , telling me to watch Martha . Her friend with all the animals was on. Well . he was showing and talking about small animals. He had hamsters , rats, gerbils and Guinea Pigs. He had two smooth hair guinea pigs and some hairless as well. I'm not a big Martha fan but I am happy to see that they are showing that not only cats and dogs but other small animals can be loving wonderful pets. 


I was wondering if anyone else had heard that they may re-classify guinea pigs?? At present they are classified as a rodent. Scientist have been doing research and DNA testing and what not and feel they are not a rodent and should be re- classified.   No matter what they classify them as. my father will always lovingly call them short eared rabbits. Then spoil them with extra treats and attention. 

One last thing-- Rachel in Baraboo ,WI has lots and lots of babies. ( they are all rescued from that home with around 500 aniomals ). Well the ones that were pregnant are having their babies.
