How eggsiting that Santa is bringing a girl piggie and clearly she is lucky to have slave parents like your family.
Temperature controlling cars can be dicey as piggies are more apt to be too warm rather than too cold. One breeder warned me that the most perilous part of new piggies life is the ride home. Try to keep the care like your house. If you give her a big pile loose hay she will make herself comfortable. I always traveled piggies in Rubbermaid tubs, these minimize drafts and I could just hang the water bottles right in it and bring familiar food dishes. Set across a seat and wedged in by the seat in front and or a seat belt I felt pretty good about travel arrangements and the piggies did great.

The new piggie parent problem that got me was water bottle accidents. The solution is to always have two in every cage, and its better if the same person changes them everyday so they can be wary of one that gets stuck but not found out because every person that came by would see a full bottle and assume someone had changed it not that it might be stuck,

Merry Christmas and have a safe and happy trip
Sandy
