I hope this message isn't a duplicate. I just sent off the original to GPDD but think I forgot to put something in the subject line. Thanks for the information on the melon rinds. I hadn't thought about the possible pesticide problem although I'm always so careful to wash all of Bud's fruits and veggies carefully. In the summer and fall I can get great organic produce but in the winter I have to rely on the grocery run of produce. I know that some of the produce is waxed, for example: peppers, apples and cucumbers. Thorough washing doesn't seem to remove this. Is it harmful and does anyone have any tips for removing it if it is? I know you can peel the produce but I'm wondering if this is necessary or if there is an easier way.
