[Gpdd] CARE: Hay racks?

Hi all!

I was wondering if any of you have some fantastic contraption for keeping hay in the piggies' cages? I currently use suet cages. They keep the hay off the floor and make them think a little bit as to getting it out, but after they have been using them for a while they tend to scratch their little noses. Plus, they don't really hold enough hay for my multi-pig cages. The "V" shaped hay racks sold at pet stores are pretty much useless as everything falls right out of it. The plastic bin types that attach to the outside of the cage don't work very well with C&C cages plus my dog Paige (a.k.a., wiggle-butt, the pig guardian) has some sort of hay rack addiction and she must steal them and chew them to pieces.

I have thrown in a pile of hay on the floor of their cages before and they do love getting right into their food, but it tends to cause disagreements and my piggies get so caught up in eating they do not move elsewhere to do their business.

So I would like to hear any ideas you may have to help solve my hay rack issues.

Also, if anyone has any toy ideas, I would appreciate those also. Everyone in my rescue gets their own toys so they don't get bored and mostly I use jingle-balls and bird toys made of wood with a bell on the end. They seem to like these really well but I am always looking for new ideas.

Thanks for your help!
