[Gpdd] [HEALTH] piggies in the winter

Thanks to everyone who responded about how to take piggies to the vet in the wintertime!  I got some great ideas about blankets, the carrier, and hot water bottles.

Nena -- thanks for posting the picture of the carrier -- I was just looking at that very one tonight.  Patches and Percy need a new cage -- the bottom of theirs has become rusty.

The herd got very nervous when they heard I was asking about going to the vet in the wintertime (it's too wheeking cold!) -- hopefully it won't be necessary.   They would just HATE having to go outside at this time of year!
