Hello everyone,

Home sick today with that AWFUL stomach/intestinal virus. Won't go into the
gruesome details, but if you've had it you know, and if you haven't, don't
get it!

Honey is hanging in there. She continues to gain weight up from an adoptive
weight of 600 grams to 755 this morning. She still has congestion most of
the time but I think she is better on the Lasix and Doxycycline.

My main GP vet is Dr. Warner backed up by Dr. Crowell of Medfield Vet Clinic
in Medfield, MA. I can't say enough about them. For local small town vets
they care so much, and never hesitate to say I will look into that, or I
will call a specialist, if they aren't sure what to do. They always call
and check up on Honey.

They are trying her on a 14 day course of a different kind of antibiotic
called Metronidazole. It targets a certain kind of bacteria that other
antibiotics can miss. It is also used for many other conditions.

I can tell she feels better because she is popcorning when dinner comes!
She is still unsteady on her feet and it is so cute to see her popping
around.

Dee and Joe with Juliet and Honey.
With Tribbles, Taffy, Daisy, Oreo, Annie and Tacoma in their hearts.
