[Gpdd] HEALTH: need some vet advice

Hello Everyone,

I've been a new member for a couple of weeks now and I just love reading all 
the daily posts! I find the information/advice very informative and relavant 
and I am very happy to be part of this online community!

I am the proud owner of a very, very hairy 1 yr old golden boar, Piggy, who 
just recently made his very first trip to the vet for a check up! It went 
well, some squealing, but I'm not too sure that the Doctor was very familiar 
with GP. Does anyone know what a 'check up' should consist of, or how to tell 
if the vet is qualified with GP's? I want to make sure that in case Piggy does 
have a health problem, the Dr. will have enough experience to diagnose it 
correctly.
