I can't remember who was asking about
this and several people have commented,
but I just wanted to add that if you
are looking for an experienced Vet in
your area, you may want to contact
Guinea Pig Rescue Folks in your area
(if you have some). Surgery is a serious
thing and I wouldn't trust just anyone
to do it. Before Brownie Bear had bladder
stone surgery (and was also Spayed) I
contacted Judi (Met. G-Pig Rescue) and
asked who She uses to perform her piggies'
spays & neuterings. And the Vet she
recommended is hands down the Best Exotics
Vet I've ever taken my Pigs to.

So, ya know, just a suggestion...
