I read back in September, someone that posted a message about Dandruff on 
her/his tri-colore guinea pig (those black loose spots that look like 
parasites but do not move). They are not Dandruff, they are excessive EAR 
WAX that comes out their ears. In your next visit to your Vet, ask the Vet 
to remove the excessive ear wax. I suggest you pay close attention on how 
to do it, so you can start "servicing" your guinea pig more frequently 
yourself.
