[Gpdd] [MISC] Spike

Hello Everyone:
I want to thank each of you that have expressed your love, care and concern  
over the recent passing of Spike.  He was (and is) such a special little  
fellow.  It amazes me how each of these little piggies can individually  touch 
such a special place in your heart.  He will always be in my heart,  and 
sometimes in the late afternoon I go to the back of the yard where he is and  talk to 
him for a few minutes and softly sing "Jesus Loves Me".  One 4th of  July 
about 4 years ago, the neighborhood was really noisy because of the  fireworks.  
All 4 of "my boys" at that time were really nervous.  As I  held a shaking 
Spike, I discovered (quite by mistake) that  he instantly calmed down when I sang 
"Jesus Loves Me".  I sing way off  key - but he didn't seem to mind. It really 
worked!  Ever since then,  anytime there was an unusual amount of confusion 
and/or noise, I would sing that  particular song and they would all become 
silent!  It now helps to  cheer me as well just to know that Spike is in a good 
place and that Jesus  really does love us all.
