[Gpdd] Health: Response to Pablo, dandruff?

Pablo, I'm not sure but you may have been responding to my post back in September.  We have found out lots since then.
I agree that the non-mite little black things can be earwax, but we also found with our Lucy, that she had these all over, and they matched the color of her skin depending where they were on her body.  She was also very crusty no matter how often we bathed her.  This was especially present around her bottom area.   
We thought she had mites or a fungal infection, so we treated her with Ivermectin...that really didn't work.  We took her back to the vet and he suggested that she has a skin condition (that apparently humans also can have...different variety) that's not curable, but treatable.  He gave us Sebolux (special shampoo) and she has greatly improved.  We will just continue to bathe her when her skin starts to look crusty.  
So basically, we were trying to cure an infection instead of treat a condition.  Hope this helps someone!
