Marylin, Boogie, and Greg,
I hope your Piggies are doing better. Whenever I hear a Piggy has stopped eating on their on, it’s definitely time for a trip to the vet. You need to start feeding them on your own. Last ime I had a sicky, I was told to syringe feed every 3 hours as they have very fast metabolisms.

Something you should always have on hand is Oxbow Critical Care. If your vet doesn’t carry it (mine never heard of it), you can order directly from: http://www.oxbowhay.com/index.sp . I have always mixed mine own batch up before I knew this stuff existed: pedialyte or gatoraid (keeps them hydrated), ground up alfalfa pellets (lots of protein), their normal fresh food favorites, and veggie baby food. Just blend this up until it’s juicy. If they don’t have the energy to chew, you can make in very thin so they can mostly drink it. I usually add low sodium V8 (mine love tomatos) and their favorite fruit juice (apple, cranberry, orange, etc) to make it thinner. Too much pedialyte seems to taste bad. Good luck. We will keep you in our thoughts.
