about impaction. I have to check Albert every day. He has a real problem with it. My husband holds him on a towel so his butt hangs just slightly over the back. Then I take a q-tip with mineral oil on it & clean out the anal pouch. This method is less stressful for him then if we try to flip him over to check. Either way it's not a pleasant process & the smell is REALLY BAD!!! Just to warn you in advance! =)
