[Gpdd] MISC: GPs and being pregnant

Hi all,
 
The concern about pregnant women being around pets, particularly cats, is because of toxoplasmosis. They can pick this up from mice or other infected meat, ot eating soil and then shedding it in their feces. 
 
GPs are not carriers of toxoplasmosis and so this is not a danger to pregnant women.
 
By the way, cats can be tested for toxo too so you know one way or another.
