Greetings, Digesters -

First off, thanks Jaime for your shout out in the last digest of good wishes
for little Mollie. And, thank you to ALL of you who have sent me words of
concern and support about Mollie's ongoing trials and tribulations. Also, a
big smile and thank you to those of you who sent answers and 'ponderings' on
Topper's sudden need (and ability!) to do the Groove Thing with Mollie, even
in his post-fixed state. Y'all are HILARIOUS. I appreciated the
information and I appreciated the laughs. What a tremendously creative and
wonderful bunch of folks.

Now - our dear Mollie has another small bladder stone, bless her heart.
<sigh> We are going to watch it for a month, hoping that she will pass it on
her own. We'll do follow-up x-rays in four weeks. Here is my question:
Our vet is beginning to suspect that the pain and bleeding is not just due
to bladder stones, but that there may be a chronic inflammation of her
bladder. She is working her way through the possibility of it being
interstitial cystitis.

I remember someone in the digest a while back talking about one of their
piggies having that. Janelle, was it you?? If any of y'all are dealing
with this, could you please share anything with me that you feel would be
helpful for me to know? I would really, really appreciate it. Send it to
me directly or the digest - I don't care. I'd just be grateful to have
anything that you are willing to share.

So many piggies have gone over the Bridge in recent weeks, and so many
others are or have been ill. Please know that each and every piggie and
each and every 'mom, dad, and sibling' are in my heart and thoughts and,
with every thought of you, I am sending strength and love.

Candy; The Mighty Topper, and Mollie the Million Dollar Guinea Pig
(Literally!)
