Lisa,

I had a similar problem (orange urine) with my oldest boar, Muttley. I was
also worried about stones, but the doc said Muttley was clear. My vet, who
is excellent with guinea pigs, did a urinalysis. (The urine wasn't orange
as if it contained blood, but more of an almost fluorescent orange.) Weird,
huh. He said that Mutt's vitamins were all out of whack, and asked me if
he'd gotten dehydrated at any time. He told me to give him Gatorade, which
Muttley loves, and it really did work. If Jacob has gotten dehydrated
sometime, is there a chance that could be part of his poop problem? May be
something to think about anyway.

Even though I had my first guinea pig about 38 year ago, I still learn
something new everyday. Best of luck.
