[Gpdd] [HEALTH] gp chewing on his foot

I have a friend whose gp has started chewing on his
foot to the point where he is mutilating himself and
he bleeds.  The only way to stop him has been to
bandage the foot.  His vet hasn't found any physical
reason as to why the piggy is chewing.  If they remove
the bandage, he will start to chew on his foot again.
The only thing that has stopped him is to keep a
bandage on his foot.  They're not sure this is
something behavioral, and now it may be a matter of
stopping this cycle of chewing.  

Does anyone have any advice on how to stop this piggy
from chewing himself before more serious damage is
done?
