I agree completely!!  GPs are the most gentle animals you'll ever own.  They
want to be loved and be part of a family.  They get easily frightened and
leaving them outside and have wild critters try to get at them on a daily
basis will place a lot of stress on them.  Also they can't deal with extreme
temperatures as in hot/cold.  There are a lot of websites and books
available on how to take proper care of the gps.  Go on the website under
guinea pigs or cavies and you'll find lots of information.  Also, there are
books available (not too expensive) that will guide you through the process.
If you love your piggies, they'll love you back.
