Greetings from Mr. Cooders Here:
I have been quite troubled by the passing of good pig Schneeblee, more
troubled perhaps because human "children" -- those who have reached the age of
responsibility -- tend to "blow off" parental instructions and those same
parents seem to behave as though there's nothing they can do to alter such
behavior.
Sure there is. If a child ignores an important rule and that child
losses the privlege that goes with it. Piggy's door is open when it shouldn't be?
No more piggy under that person's care until responsibility can be proved.
Life is not a matter of what we can "get away with" and we misguide our
children when we ourselves project a helplessness regarding their behaviors,
actions, etc.
However, there's more to shaping young people than yelling and talking.
Action tends to be quite effective. It takes energy on the part of the parent
to take over the GP or whatever, but the message -- if fully carried out --
gets through.

Cooders, of the Jolly Rodents, sorry that any pig must die because of
carelessness or because of parental instructions that are not enforrced.
Message read and approved by Alge and the other Jolly Rodents
