Hi,

Want to say sorry for not writing to thank all the people for their input
about my guinea pig Tassle with his gassy tummy.
The person who I owe the biggest thank you to is Lisa who wrote about the
fennel tea. I have got into a routine of giving Tassle fennel in his bottle
for two days and then water for one day as I don't like the idea of giving
him fennel, even though it is diluted, every day.

I would recomend the fennel tea for any pig who has gas problems, but not
for a guinea pig who has the condition 'bloat'. This condition comes on very
quickly, they blow up and their tummy feels hard, they will need to see an
exotics vet or a rodentologist for that.

Here is the recipe if you missed it:
1 fennel tea bag
1 peppermint tea bag
1 catmint tea bag
4 cups of boiled water.

Let the tea brew for 10 minutes and then remove the bags and let the tea
cool before giving it to the pig.

I would also like to say if you give your pig this and their water intake
drops I would switch back to just water.

Thanks for your help!!

Joey & Tassle
