[Gpdd] Misc: Self-traumatizing

Two weeks ago I took my Ginger to the vet because she has been itching her back and has hair lost. He took a skin scraping to check for mites. She had some and a little fungus. So he gave her a shot and had me put an anti-fungal cream. We had to go back for another shot and then this Saturday we went for a re-check. The mites are gone and so is the fungus. She is still itching on her back. The only thing he can think is she is self-traumatizing. He said something is stressing her out. He wanted to know if she had a cage mate and we said yes. He said that we should seperate them. So know they are in different cages. But she is still chewing on her back. Any body ever heard of this self-traumatizing? Any one have any suggestions. I don't want her to lose all of her hair.
Thanks,
Fran
