Hi again Piggies and People! I have missed talking to you all. Really
more than I realized, because almost everyday I'm reading people's news
and thoughts on the gpdd and responding to the posts in my mind if not
in writing. So many interesting things have been written about by you
guys that I don't even know to which part I want to add my 2 cents.
Welcome back from Aruba, Leah! (okay I'm behind!) I was singing that
song "Aruba, Bahamas, come on pretty mama" when you told us about your
trip. Congrats to the Okie Piggies on their big cavy show! Well done.

Anyone heard anything from Bing cavy lately!?? I've been waiting for a
new song.

Anyone in the Houston area that would like to do a Memorial Day pignic?

Along with a real pignic Snickers and Snowball are psyched up to get
into that Rodent Vehicle (RV) with all the piglets for the virtual
pignic Alge suggested.

About the Oxbow Cavy Performance, I know that Snickers and Snowball got
softer more silky coats when we switched to Oxbow Cavy Cuisine from
Kaytee. If they feel better on the outside maybe they feel better inside
too.

Wheeks to Dawnda's Sabrina. Thanks to Susan for the info about the air
cleaners. Laura's info about the cavy cognitive tests she is devising
are very interesting too. Am looking forward to hearing more.

I saw the GP magazine today! Go pigs!!! Maybe it was someone on the
gpddigest who recommended it, I don't remember how I found this yahoo
group called Small Pet Trick Training, but it is fun and all about
sharing ideas for teaching gpigs, rats, etc. to do different tricks.
Someone put a video of her guinea pig jumping through a hoop. It is
pretty cute if you have time to see it! Just do a search under Small Pet
Trick Training on Yahoo groups to join that digest.

Only three more weeks of school for us here! Can't wait! My neighbor is
bringing her hedgehog to show my Pre-K kids this week.

Tony my husband found a stray Pekinese the other day. We are working on
finding its owner but one of the neighbor kids suggested we call him
Stuart Little in the meantime. Hee hee, he looks like a Stuart :) Doggie
Fluff is being a gracious host to the little guy.

I am moonlighting at the petstore demonstrating for a pet food company
for dogs and cats. This really expert guy is training me and makes it
fun. It is interesting to see and hear all the different stories. Today
while snooping in someone's cart I spied guinea pig paraphernalia. This
girl does dog and cat rescues and also has an Abyssinian gpig. She said
she has no time to go onto any websites like the gpdd :( Boohoo. I am
looking for local piggie friends.

Well piggiepoos, that's the wheeks from us here! Oh I have to add that I
more worried about giving all the Pre-K germs to my piglets than about
getting anything from the pigs.
Whhheeks!!
Carla Snickers and Snowball
