[Gpdd] HEALTH - paralysis in back legs

Hi, its Carole again i dont seem to be having much luck this year with my 
pigs , after the sudden death of Smoothy, i woke this morning to find 
Brownie cant move her back legs shes dragging herself along.  She was fine 
last night eatng properly she is only 12 months old.  I took her to the vet 
at a guess he said a stroke or blood clot gave her a couple of injections 
but didnt give much hope of her getting any better.
                     I then went to Peter gurneys health page and he sais 
hes had the same thing with his pigs and he suggests OSTEOCARE a calcium 
supplement humans take it, he sais they should get better within 24 hours 
after taking this. I thought great and phoned my vet back. They had never 
heard of this and advised strongly not to give it because it could cause 
bladder problems and other things. Now i dont know what to do, ha anyone 
used calcium before for this i can remember other people with this problem 
on this site. If anyone can advise me please help as soon as you can because 
i think i need to do something quick to help. Il buy some and wait for some
