Dear all,

First off thank you all for welcoming me to this wonderful digest. It
is a huge wealth of info!!!

I know that I am new to this forum, but after having my sick gps I did a
lot of research and have learned some things about liquid vitamin c . .
.namely, that from what I understand, it is sort of useless. Vitamin C
is a very unstable chemical. By the time it goes on sale at the store,
liquid vitamin C is already expired. And also, if you are adding
vitamin C (in any form) to water, it must be water that has been
dechlorinated because the chlorine in water will actually cuase the
vitamin C to go "bad" (without going into the chemistry of it). Also,
adding the liquid Vitamin C to water, from what I have been reading,
will actually cause the gp to drink less water . . .so although putting
liquid vitamin C that has expired isn't in itself bad, it may in fact
lead to other gp pathology by inhibiting them from drinking cause they
don't like the taste. From my own experience, I used to use the liquid
vit C in water, and I thought my gp were drinking plenty. But then I
stopped using it when I found out more about it and watched their water
intake . . .and after about 1 week, it increased dramatically (Ella and
Kayla actually have this new habit where they take a sip of water
following every bite of food! :))

As for the wheat grass . . . from what I have been reading, too much
wheat grass is really bad for the gps too . . .so that stuff that you
buy at the store that you grow yourself should be given to gp sparingly.

I hope this helps! I know that I am not an expert by any means! But I
have done a TON of reading and research on my own.

Love to all-
Michelle, Kayla, and Ella
