To all here at the GPDD,
Thank you so much for all of your condolences over the passing of
Sydney. It has already been 3 months since she has left, but I still
can't think of her without getting tears in my eyes. When all of her
health issues came to a head, it was such a whirlwind . . . and some of
the people on the guinealynx forums actually started insinuated I did
something wrong because I didn't catch her heart problem sooner . . .
and this just compounded all my pain. Because the last thing I would
want to do is be responsible for my favorite guinea pig's death!

So, needless to say, your kind words mean soooo much to me. I felt so
guilty and helpless over her loss, but hearing your words of condolences
is really helping. This forum is fantastic and I am so glad that you
have all opened your arms and your hearts to me, and my two wonderful
piggies . .. Ella and Kayla :)

I keep reading about all these pignics, and they sound like tons of fun!
It doesn't seem like anyone is from around Philadelphia, PA (where I
live) though . .. if there are any Philly Phans out there . . let me
know :)
Sincerely,
Michelle

P.S. I keep reading the stuff people's husbands say. . .I just wanted
to contribute. My husband, Matt, always asks if I love Ella and Sydney
more then him . . .and of course I always answer yes! Hehehe He has
been and is very supportive though. He does complain about the price of
the Carefresh, but I love spoiling them. And he helped me build their C
and C cage, which they love! And I mentioned to him that I wanted to
build a whole backyard play area for them and he didn't immediately role
his eyes (so I guess that is good). All in all, he is a good guinea
pig father :)
