Greeting piggies and their people,

I want to thank the gpdd poster that put me on to corn silks. Sally wheeks
an even louder thanks as she just loves them. I have also started giving
Sally the husks which disappear faster than everything else in her veggie
buffer. People have talked about taking veggies home from restaurants. The
stories gave me a great giggle. Well I've started taking home corn husk and
silks from the grocery store. I can't eat enough corn to keep Sally stocked
so a big thanks to all the grocery store patrons that husk there corn right
there in the store. Now to my questions. Are there any downsides to giving
piggies corn husks and/or silks? Also is there any nutritional value to
them?

I have one other question as well, we live in black fly and mosquito
country. Does anyone else who has to deal with these dastardly pests do
anything special to protect their piggies and what do you do if they get
bitten or do they?

Thanks a bunch

Martha & Sally
