Although my Guinness has not had Bob Bob's health issues, he is a particularly finicky eater. He seems to go through phases of eating and then not eating: parsley, red leaf and green leaf lettuce, basil, spinach, romaine lettuce, swiss chard, etc. He will eat any of these for a while and then stop eating it completely and act like he never liked it. And he looks at me like I am crazy when I ask why he is not eating it. Silly piggie... The food items he never turns down: corn on the cob, including the silk and inner husk, belgium endive, carrots, and grapes. He usually eats his Oxbow Timothy hay but can be finicky about his Oxbow pellets. He, of course, has a steady diet of hugs and smooches (I am afraid he might say "too many, mom") daily.
Regarding Katrina relief efforts, I would also like to sponsor a family/piggie and/or contribute to a fund. I have already given to four or five different animal rescue organizations, including the South Carolina one, (all I need to see is a picture of animals in distress and I am sold...) so I do have limited funds. But, nonetheless, I would like to join in any organized GPDD effort. Thanks to Janice for organizing this project.
Priscilla
