Hi,

I have no experience with colloidal silver, although
it does sound familiar. Something that may be a little
more safe however is silver sulfadiazine. (I would
worry in general about anything that promotes bone
growth... Sounds like it would effect many systems in
the body.)

Silver sulfadiazine is a topical cream that is
anti-bacterial and anti-fungal. It is often used for
burns and is especially useful for resistant
infections. It is a pretty, white pearly cream. (In
fact, it has even been used for resistant infections
in the eye. I can't imagine putting a creamy, pearly
ointment in my eye, but I did use it on my nasty nasty
belly button piercing infection.)

Good luck,
Jo Ann
