Dear Kathy

Guinea pigs can quite often have a nail or two that 'curl' a little.  Both
of mine have one just like that on their outer claw on their front feet.  It
is nothing to worry about, so don't feel you must cut a curled one right
hard back.  If in any doubt you could ask your nurse at the vets.

I gave my flashlight a full charge. Did not help. I can't see through
Ebony's nails so I just guess. He jumped and squeaked on one of his back
legs. I had my daughter 11 years old nearby with the Kwik Stop, but we did
not see anything. One nail stilll looks curved. Any idea on why that is? I
really don't want to trim them any shorter for now.

I also got him to eat half of a grape. It does not seem to me he was given
anything but pellets. I could be wrong. Maybe daughters pig can get him to
eat. Her name was/is Lucky, Clover and today she is Daisy. LOL
