Hi Milton, this is in response to your question about stinging nettles. They can be given to guinea pigs, nettles are a very healthy treat ! My husband occasionaly gets some for our piggie Amos. I gather the bunch, and hang them, so they can dry out for a few days. You can probably hang them outside ( on a clothes line or something ), or in a garage, laundry room  etc. Hope this helps.
