There have been several queries about travelling with piggies.  I recently
bought (another!) piggy book, "Guine Pigs: Practical Advice to Caring for
Your Guinea Pig" by Virginia Parker Guidry, 2004, Bowtie Press, ISBN
1-931993-32-7.  In this book, it is advised to minimise and avoid
travelling with piggies, and suggests searching the National Association
of Professional Pet Ssitters (NAPPS) webite:

www.petsitters.org

to find a local pet sitter to look after your pet while you are away.
Make sure you have your pet's veterinary history available, and also pet
supplies to hand for the pet sitter.
