To all fellow GPDDigesters, 
   
  I have just bought a miniature poodle, who is almost 3 months old. So thinking that the GP digest is such a wonderful thing, I thought I would look for one about poodles. What a mistake. The forum is very negative and everyone complains about anything and everything. It is not welcoming at all. I want to share with you the email I just sent to the digest........
   
  I am new to the poodle mailing list and I am already ready to unsubscribe. I was hoping to find a forum that was nurturing and helpful without all of the complaining that has been going on. I belong to another forum about a different kind of animal and those subscribers share stories, share tears and offer support to those who need it. It is a lot more nurturing and accepting of all levels of knowledge and don't continue for issues on end complaining about a comment that someone made. I believe in the following comment that Pam made in Vol 20, issue 11.....
   
  We're attracted to what we're attracted to.........and if you love that 
breed.......then somehow people find a way of maintaining it.  I 
believe 
this to be true and that's my opinion............like it or not.
   
  For all of the bellyaching everyone is doing, it is enough to drive new subscribers away.......I love my puppy and will take anything in stride that comes with owning a poodle.

  I wanted to let everyone know, that I appreciate all of the wisdom, insights, stories, prayers, pigtures and wheeeks that is sent out to everyone who wants them and needs them. We are all very lucky to have found this digest and I feel lucky to be a part of it...............
   
  Ok that is my two cents.......and I want to send out wheeeks and Merry Christmas to all the furbabies and their slaves......It is Chip and Alf's first birthday this month, so I am off to make them new, bigger and better cages and great big salads of their favorites......
