[Gpdd] [health]coughing

Hi Rachel,

My copy of Richardson's " Diseases of Domestic Guinea Pigs" has the
following to say about coughing -
"As with sneezing, all gps will cough occasionally, and this need not be
related to a pathological condition but is assumed to be part of the body's
natural defence mechanism."

Not a great deal on info there I'm afraid, but if Samson is still suffering
with sneezes etc. it wouldn't hurt to get Solomon checked out too. Sneezes
and coughs are often just caused by a bit of dusty hay but you cannot be too
careful.

My Gulliver will sometimes have a sneeze when he has been rooting around in
the bottom of his dry feed bowl but he is only clearing his nose much as we
might.

Best wishes from Penny and the Piggyfriends.
