I am very Happy that some our UK
slaves have gotten in touch with you &
recommended good Vets. I certainly
would not let a Vet that I was not confident
in perform something as serious as
surgery on my g-pig.

In your original post, you had asked
if there was a drug that could prevent
bladder stones. And there are some
drugs out there, but I haven't tried any
on my stone piggie (Brownie Bear).
But, what I have tried is a Chinese herb
called Shilintong. It has helped my
pig and it has helped several of our
Digest piggies. It's a natural herb
that helps to relax the urethra so that
bladder stone(s)/calcium crystals are
able to pass through. Now, I'm not sure
if there is company that sells this in the
UK, so hopefully someone will write
in with an overseas source. I live in
