Hello everypig and everyone,

My name is Gulliver and I would like to join my friends Guinness, Barley, Rye and Daisy as a member of LAPS ( overseas branch ).

When I was a little piglet I had to live in a hutch with a rabbit and I was kicked and injured. All of my teeth were broken and my mouth was hurt but I was lucky to be rescued by a kind lady called Jackie who took me to Cavies Castle, where Chris and Titch, who know all about us guinea pigs, nursed me back to health. Chris had to syringe feed me for weeks until my mouth healed and my teeth grew back.

One day Penny was visiting with some of her Piggyfriends, who had come for a check-up, and she saw me in the hospital. Chris told her that I would need a new home when I was better. My mouth was nearly healed by then and so the next week I came here to live with the Piggyfriends.

I have been making up for lost time ever since and I love to eat and although I run about a lot and love to jump up onto my sleeping box I have grown large enough to apply for membership of this esteemed company. I weigh 3lb.4 1/2 oz.

I live next door to Sam, who looks much plumper than me, and I thought that he might join too but he has just been weighed and he is about an ounce too light. He wouldn't sit still on the scale like I did so it was hard to be accurate. Sam is very round and sits around a lot. He is not keen on exercise other than using his jaws to eat.
