In the past, I used a scale that I bought at Williams Sonoma to weigh my
food. I would put a plastic plate on it to hold a pig. It worked, but it
wasn't the best.

Now that I'm nursing a sick bunny, I went to Babies R Us and got a great
scale that weights in lbs. & kilograms (you should weigh your piggies in grams)
and it has a little bowl on top for the piggie to rest safely. It was $54 and
I had to buy a 9V battery. Since I have 8 furkids, I rationalized that it
only cost $7 a kid.

My condolences to everyone with a sick pig, or even worse, the Bridge pigs
at this typically joyous time.

"It doesn't matter what the kids say. Rabbits are not disposable like a box
of cereal or a Disney video. They WILL get tired of the rabbits and go on to
the next toy. YOU will have to deal with the consequences. Unfortunately,
most people deal with the situation by DUMPING their rabbits on someone else.
Ultimately, it is the bunny that pays for your inability to say NO."
