Dear Pooky Amber and Blackey,
It is the herd of the Four Pigs! We just wanted to
tell you how we became therapy pets. Our slave works
at the nursing home/hospice, on the Altzheimers unit.
She hurt her back a number of years ago, and was put
on light duty. Then she was moved from nursing to
activities. One day she was sitting with a group of
her patients out on their patio where she works, and
she called slave daddy to bring us in to work. It was
a match made in heaven! We love to be pet, and people
love to pet us. How can you resist four little pigs
with bad hair days??? We love our "work". We don't
do much of it in the winter, because mommy slave
doesn't want us to get sick, but in the summer we go
over at least once a wheek!
We hope to do more of that work this summer as mommy
just got off the light duty list into a real job on
that unit! She got a promotion! She started today!
Restorative Aid! (What ever that means) She sais it is
like physical therapy and activities with the
altzheimers patients. She likes it, and if slave is
happy, we are happy.

Well we have got to get to bed. Good night all
Four little pigs and slave mommy too
