She does not show any signs of fungus or mites She is routinely treated
orally with Panacur
and Ivermectin. She is eating, drinking and defecating and urinating
just fine. She is 900g and has maintained that weight for 2 years. She
is very active. What am I doing wrong? Could she have a hormonal
imbalance that is causing the hair loss?

Its been a while since you started this regimen of trying to treat for
fungus or mites, but this is a classic symptom of reproductive organ problems that
you may have even found by doing a search on the internet for 'hair loss
guinea pigs symmetrical' or something like that. Here is one site with possible
answers: _http://guinealynx.info/hairloss.html_
(http://guinealynx.info/hairloss.html) .

She may have ovarian cysts, or even cancer, but there is something going on
with her so please take her to a vet asap rather than try to continue this
diagnosing and treatment on your own. There are several vets in your area who
treat guinea pigs. Take a look at the referrals on the Tampa Bay HRS site at:
http://www.tampabayhrs.org.
