Katie, is it possible that your piggie has a yeast infection?  Our Joey 
(RIP) had one on his skin because he had that wild Texel fur; the infection 
showed up as black flakes.  My vet said that long-haired piggies are 
sometimes prone to yeast problems.

In case this might be what is happening with your piggie, you could try 
Malaseb shampoo, which should be available at your vet's.  Just follow the 
directions on the back and make sure you thoroughly dry your piggie after 
her bath.  (P.S. One bottle of Malaseb can last for up to a year.)
