Lisa, we are so very sorry that Russell passed away shortly after his 
surgery, but we want to assure you that it is not your fault.  Sometimes 
the right/best/correct thing to do is totally clear after the fact; 
sometimes we'll never know what the best course of action would have 
been.  Surgery is risky, but just as often, not having surgery is equally 
risky.  You and your sister weighed the options and made the best decision 
you could -- and all that time, you did everything out of your love for 
Russell.  You also gave him the happiest life possible.  What more could 
any of us do?  We send our condolences, and also our best wishes to 
Russell's buddy, Pippin.  How very touching to read of Pippin trying to 
wake his friend up.  A true and special bond.

Our thoughts and prayers are with all sick piggies and their humans.
